How to Use Increment Integer Digits

1
Enter Numbers or Text
Paste your integers, serial numbers, or text containing numbers into the input field.
2
Configure Delta & Mode
Choose between per-digit shift or whole value increment, and set your delta step (+1, +5, -1, etc.).
3
Copy Result
The shifted or incremented numbers are available immediately.

Key Features

Dual Operation Modes
Choose between per-digit rotational shifting (+1: 129 -> 230) or whole integer arithmetic (999 + 1 -> 1000).
Modulo 10 Wrapping
Easily rotate digits around 0 to 9 for obfuscation and numerical Caesar ciphers.
BigInt Safety
Increment arbitrarily long integers without precision clipping.
Format Preservation
Preserves non-numeric text, punctuation, and line breaks automatically.

Common Use Cases

  • Incrementing batch serial numbers, product codes, and version numbers.
  • Simple numeric obfuscation and digit rotation for PINs or puzzle design.
  • Offsetting mathematical coordinates or index sequences.
  • Updating legacy data tables containing sequential identifiers.

Frequently Asked Questions

In Per-Digit mode, each character 0-9 is shifted individually (e.g., 129 + 1 becomes 230 because 9 wraps to 0). In Entire Value mode, mathematical addition is performed (129 + 1 = 130).

Yes! Enter a negative step such as -1 to shift digits in reverse (e.g. 0 becomes 9).

Yes! In Per-Digit mode, non-digit characters like hyphens, periods, and letters are preserved completely.
